I have played all of the games you mentioned. They were benchmarks just like Gears of War was a benchmark, but things are always changing.
Gears of War 3, Crysis 2 and Rage will be the new benchmarks.

I have loved most of the Castlevania games over the years and I am thrilled that it is finally entering the realm of modern 3D graphics. Honestly, though, by the sounds of it Lords of Shadow is going to surpass my expectations. It sounds extremely good.

If those PS3 games really were as good as the PS3 loyalists claim then you would think they would be actually playing those games instead of trolling on the internet all day. You don't see Wii or 360 fanboys trolling to that degree.

Yet when attacking certain 360 exclusives resolution suddenly becomes the only important thing. Never mind what the game is doing in terms of lighting, scale, geometry or textures. No, just focus on the resolution.
You are right though, resolution isn't everything. Both consoles have sub-HD exclusives. What matters is the final image as it appears on your screen. If it looks good, then it looks good.

Crysis 2 running on the 360 is just as technically advanced as any of those top PS3 exclusives. Probably more so. Gears of War 3, Rage and the new Crytek exclusive for the 360 will also in all likelihood be of a similar graphical quality.
I agree with you though that MS needs more 1st party studios to make more exclusive games.
Yes because God of War has evolved so much. Give me a break. GOW3 is almost exactly like previous games in the series and it is a godly PS3 exclusive. Halo has seen far more evolution than God of War. You would know that if you had actually played both games.
Quit talking crap you know nothing about. The PS3 has just as many or more games that are sub-HD than the 360 does.
PS3 has exclusives like MGS4, Ratchet & Clank Future, Ratchet & Clank ACIT, Quest for Booty, etc that are all sub-HD. As far as multiplats the PS3 actually has more sub-HD games than the 360. Many games like Red Dead Redemption, Ghostbusters, Dark Sector, Chronicles of Riddick and Bioshock are full 720p HD on the 360, but sub-HD on the PS3.

MW2 is a decent game, but it's overrated in my opinion.
The campaign story sucks @ss and I don't even need to go into all the problems with multiplayer.
I have already been playing Halo Reach for about 5 hours today since I was able to get it early--not pirated--and I can honestly say that it easily surpasses MW2.
Of course, like all things it is a matter of opinion, but that is how I see things.
